Job Summary

A travel platform company is filling a position for a Remote Travel Industry Account Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building and nurturing business relationships with key decision makers
  • Developing retention and growth strategies for accounts within the portfolio proactively promoting and selling company products
  • Developing the correct account management playbook

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Strong commercial understanding of the Travelport business model, core drivers & technology requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of Account Manager experience within a business-to-business environment
  • Strong knowledge of the travel technology landscape
  • Strong functional/technical knowledge of GDS landscape
  • Strong understanding of the leisure sector including, but not limited to; Consolidators, Tour Operators and Tier 2 OTAs
  • Strong commercial skills, including ability to translate customer business requirements into definable actions
