Job Summary
A travel platform company is filling a position for a Remote Travel Industry Account Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building and nurturing business relationships with key decision makers
- Developing retention and growth strategies for accounts within the portfolio proactively promoting and selling company products
- Developing the correct account management playbook
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong commercial understanding of the Travelport business model, core drivers & technology requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Account Manager experience within a business-to-business environment
- Strong knowledge of the travel technology landscape
- Strong functional/technical knowledge of GDS landscape
- Strong understanding of the leisure sector including, but not limited to; Consolidators, Tour Operators and Tier 2 OTAs
- Strong commercial skills, including ability to translate customer business requirements into definable actions
