Remote Tutor
Job Summary
To support K-8 students in their learning journey, the part-time Remote Tutor will prepare and deliver structured literacy-based lessons using the Amplify Curriculum while working remotely and being available for at least 90 minutes a day, 3 days a week during school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging tutoring sessions that align with the Amplify Curriculum
- Participating in ongoing professional development and implementing feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness
- Maintaining a consistent schedule for tutoring sessions and effectively communicating with students and families
Required qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Fluent English speaker with strong technological proficiency
- Availability for a minimum of 90 minutes a day, 3 days a week during school hours
- Access to a personal laptop or computer with a webcam and microphone
- Enjoyment in working with Kindergarten-Eighth Grade students and interest in teaching literacy
