Job Summary

A mortgage lender and financer needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Underwrite residential loans
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate company
  • Rework loan to new terms or identify additional conditions

Required Skills:

  • Local travel may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs, and/or events
  • 4+ years of residential loan underwriting experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of FHA\VA\USDA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge and understanding of TILA, RESPA and Predatory Lending
  • Understanding of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products and underwriting guidelines
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage insurance (MI) guidelines
