Job Summary

A dental services company is filling a position for a Remote Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Approving rate variance requests and extra contractual claim payments
  • Ensuring competitiveness, legal and regulatory compliance by underwriting current and prospective accounts
  • Supporting sales team by providing account executives with account retention strategies and pre and post-sale strategies

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary
  • 2 years' experience in similar or related capacity
  • Four year college degree or equivalent work experience in Healthcare financing
  • Strong Technical (data analysis, etc.) skills
  • PC computing skills including but not limited to 123, Excel, WordPerfect and Access
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
