Job Summary
A technology company that provides a customer relationship management platform for property managers is in need of a Remote Underwriter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reworking loans to new terms and identify additional conditions as needed
- Accurately conditioning loan files based on the loan application and documentation provided
- Emailing updated conditional approval and loan status
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience working as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter and knowledge of underwriting processes and lending systems
- Thorough understanding of Conventional (Fannie Mae) and FHA Loan Products
- Analytical person and hold adept decision-making ability to make lending decisions and translate guidelines
- Organization skills to manage many competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
- Over-communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and successful managing multiple competing priorities at once
