Job Summary

An insurance company is seeking a Remote Underwriting Consultant.

Must be able to:

• Appraise and underwrite individual life applications to assess mortality risk per company guidelines
• Underwrite an authority limit up to $7. 5M
• Exercise strong relationship skills with distribution partners and key accounts

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experiences
• Minimum of 6-10 years individual life underwriting experience
• Advanced technical underwriting knowledge and risk assessment
• Excellent negotiating and decision-making skills, critical thinking
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with peers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
