Job Summary

A provider of title insurance and settlement services has a current position open for a Remote Underwriting Counsel Member.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing underwriting support, counsel, and authorization
  • Utilizing underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits
  • Providing guidance to company personnel

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Law Degree
  • Admitted to practice in state of employment
  • 5-7 years title underwriting experience
  • Must be familiar with real estate law
  • Member of the VA State Bar
  • General knowledge of Federal and State regulations
