Job Summary

A financial services firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Underwriting Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Develop the underwriting expertise of Underwriters, Associate Underwriters, and support staff
• Provide team with case-specific underwriting expertise and consultation
• Analyze section operations and workflow

Required Skills:

• Able to express ideas clearly and accurately in both written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• 2 to 4 years of progressively responsible experience with emphasis in underwriting
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Must have a working knowledge of division operations; human resource practices, procedures and requirements
• Strong understanding of basic risk analysis and underwriting philosophy
