Job Summary
Working remotely on a temporary contract basis, the Remote Underwriting Processor will review health insurance applications, verify documentation, and ensure compliance and accuracy from 9/21/2026 to 1/31/2027, with potential for future full-time employment based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Retrieve and review cases from client systems for accuracy and completeness
- Identify required documentation and request missing information from agents
- Maintain detailed case records while collaborating with team members to meet departmental goals
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a virtual desktop environment
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in underwriting, insurance processing, or related fields is preferred
