Job Summary
A financial institution is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Underwriting Review Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting the UW team by reviewing reports and clearing conditions
- Reviewing and resolving underwriting issues from Funding and Closing
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3-4 years of mortgage industry experience or background in mortgage underwriting
- Comprehensive knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting and delivery requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required
- Proven knowledge and understanding of regulations and guidelines for conventional mortgage loans
