Job Summary

A company that provides mortgage origination services needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Underwriting Team Lead.

Must be able to:

  • Distribute work to underwriting team according to goals and workload
  • Respond to procedural, product, and system questions for assigned Conventional underwriting team
  • Participate in performance review process with the Conventional Product Manager

Qualifications Include:

  • BS/BA in Finance, Operations or Management preferred, or equivalent work history
  • 5+ years of experience in all aspects of residential mortgage origination for both Conventional and Government loans
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to the mortgage banking industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
