Job Summary
A nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Unified Youth Voice Committee Intern in Fresno.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with planning and logistics for Fresno Unified’s Youth Voice Steering Committee
- Supporting with preparation of curriculum and materials for the Youth Voice Steering Committee meeting
- Supporting with FUSD Voice Committee member follow up
Position Requirements Include:
- Interest in and basic familiarity with concepts relating to Gender & Sexualities Alliance clubs, LGBTQ youth issues
- Time management, event planning and writing skills
- Basic familiarity with video conferencing, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Ability to connect with and interact with LGBTQ youth of color
- Ability to work some weekends and afternoons
