Job Summary
A for-profit health care organization has an open position for a Remote Unit Manager Authorizations in St Louis.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining an adequately trained staff to review and complete requests according to specified format and deadlines
- Providing e coaching and development through informal observation and formal monitoring
- Maintaining and monitoring scheduling for all staff members which includes time off and overtime issues
Position Requirements Include:
- RN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current, active RN license
- 3-4 years experience in acute care environment
- 5 years previous utilization management experience in a managed care and/or hospital setting
- Computer proficiency
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nursing or a hospital-sponsored diploma program
