Job Summary

A financial technology company is in need of a Remote US Employment Counsel.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Partner with our People team (primarily HR and Recruiting) to provide day-to-day advice on a range of employment issues
• Proactively review employment policies to ensure legal compliance and consistency with best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and maintain employment compliance

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of employment law experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal department
• Demonstrated employment counseling experience
• A proven ability to exercise sound judgment in balancing legal risks and business needs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to work well on both long and short-term projects
• An exceptionally hard worker, capable of getting things done
