Job Summary

A mutual life insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote User Experience and 508 Accessibility Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain usability and accessibility (508) and design standards
  • Create deliverables including graphics, wireframes and prototypes
  • Facilitate user testing studies to inform, improve and validate user designs

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, graphic design, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of combined User Experience and UI development Experience
  • Basic understanding of design principles and best practices for usability
  • 1 year mentoring or coaching other team members
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with systems development life cycle
