Job Summary
A provider of behavioral health solutions needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Utilization Management Care Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Responds to and completes urgent/emergent assessment and triage telephonically
- Complete pre-certification for higher level of care admissions
- Application of medical necessity criteria in authorization of psychiatric services
Qualifications for this position include:
- M.S. Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or related Behavioral Health field required
- Current, valid, unrestricted clinical license required (RN, LCSW, MFT, LPCC, PhD or PsyD)
- Must practice within the scope of license
- 5 years of combined direct behavioral health clinical and managed care experience require
