Job Summary
A health insurance company is in need of a Remote Utilization Management Medical Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate outpatient referral requests and inpatient direct admissions
- Discuss specialty care with community specialists
- Assist in screening, interviewing and evaluating healthcare providers
Skills and Requirements Include:
- You have a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a US State
- Board Certified, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or similar speciality
- MD or DO
- You have clinical experience of at least 5 years with inpatient experience
