Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Utilization Management Nurse .
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Interpreting criteria, policies, and procedures to provide the best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members
- Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
- Making decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or an Associate's degree
- 3 - 5 years of Medical Surgery, Heart, Lung or Critical Care Nursing experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the (appropriate state) with no disciplinary action
