Job Summary

A health services company has an open position for a Remote Utilization Management Nurse.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform risk-identification, pre-admission, concurrent, and retrospective review
  • Partner with PCP and other medical providers to coordinate treatments
  • Report and escalate questionable healthcare services

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in nursing or a related discipline; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Active RN or LPN License in Utah or a Compact State
  • 2+ years of acute care clinical nursing experience and 1+ years of utilization review experience
  • Experience identifying care alternatives and discharge planning
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large caseloads and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
