Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Utilization Management Nurse in Smithfield.
Must be able to:
- Utilize the case management software system to document any outreach activities
- Evaluate requests for outpatient services such as home care, therapies and DME
- Attend all required trainings and management-identified meetings in person
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel within local region required
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state of Rhode Island
- Three (3) years of experience in acute care or hospital setting
- Three (3) years of experience in utilization management
- Previous experience with Medical Review guidelines and CMS requirements
