Job Summary

A healthcare service provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Utilization Management Pharmacy Technician.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing quality review of prior authorization requests
• Navigating across multiple computer systems to respond to questions
• Receiving and reviewing prescription prior authorization (PA) requests

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Solid PC skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• 2 years of practice experience in health plan or PBM
• Certified Pharmacy Technician, licensed practical nurse or medical assistant
• High School Diploma / GED or higher
• Ability to identify and interpret drug names, indications and doses, and other detailed clinical information
• Demonstrated pharmacy subject expertise in Medicare Part D, Medicaid and Commercial product lines
