Job Summary
A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Utilization Management Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Provide non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members
- Perform escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates
- Coordinate and provide day-to-day oversight to associates
Qualifications for this position include:
- Associate Degree
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and engage in ethical behavior
- 1 or more years experience in a team leadership or supervisory position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Able to give direction and make sound business decisions
