Job Summary

A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Utilization Physician Reviewer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Using correct templates for documenting decisions during case review
  • Meeting the appropriate turn-around times for clinical reviews
  • Receiving and reviewing escalated reviews

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 1+ years of utilization review experience in a managed care plan (health care industry)
  • 3+ years of clinical practice in one of the following fields: internal medicine, family medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics
  • Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted license to practice medicine is required
