Job Summary
A healthcare organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Utilization Review Clinical Specialist in Franklin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Holding collaborative discussions with physicians on the medical staff, when needed
- Escalating cases to the Utilization Review Manager and/or Physician Advisor if physicians are unable to provide any additional information to support the need for medically necessary hospital care
- Documenting all actions and activities in the case management software system used by the hospital
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse;BSW/MSW accepted for Behavioral Health Utilization Review
- Bachelors Science Nursing or higher
- Computer Skills Required: Data entry skills; Demonstrable skills with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and email applications
