Job Summary
A healthcare staffing and recruiting firm has a current position open for a Remote Utilization Review Licensed Vocational Nurse in Pearland.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting utilization management and utilization review
- Utilizing clinical skills to telephonically provide and facilitate utilization review
- Obtaining the information necessary to assess a member's clinical condition
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Valid, unrestricted state Licensed Vocational Nurse (L.V.N.) license
- 3 years of acute care, public health, or hospital nursing experience
- 2 years of prior authorization or utilization management experience at a Managed Care Organization
- Experience in and willingness to be part of multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization as well as with external contacts
