A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Utilization Review Nurse.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing review of requests for prior authorization of medical services
- Reviewing admissions through telephonic review
- Reviewing and auditing medical records to determine medical necessity
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Active RN License
- Previous experience with Utilization Management, Medical Review, or Clinical Review
- Must have strong technical skills
- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
