Job Summary

A nonprofit healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Utilization Review Nurse.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing prospective, concurrent and retrospective review
• Consulting with physician advisors to ensure clinically appropriate determinations
• Applying clinical expertise and judgment to ensure compliance with medical policy

Skills and Requirements Include:

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
• 3 years of case management, utilization management, or retrospective review experience
• Current and unrestricted registered nurse license and at least 3 years
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures and communicate complex topics effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• General computer skills
