Job Summary

A staffing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Utilization Review Nurse in Rochester.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing reviews of services
  • Evaluating medical guidelines
  • Providing utilization review

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted state Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
  • 2 years acute care clinical nursing experience
  • 1 year recent experience in Utilization Review or Utilization Management AT A
  • Health plan or other managed care organization- HMO/TPA/IPA
  • Knowledge of guidelines for Medicaid/Medicare and related state programs
  • 1+ years experience using InterQual criteria for medical necessity
