Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Utilization Review Registered Nurse.
Must be able to:
- Coordinate and communicate with providers, members, or other parties to facilitate optimal care and treatment
- Coordinate and communicate with providers, members, or other parties to facilitate appropriate discharge planning including to assist with social determinants and closing gaps
- Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida or compact license with no disciplinary action.
- 3 - 5 years of clinical experience in acute care setting
- Previous experience in utilization management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
