Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Utilization Review Registered Nurse in Boston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting utilization reviews up to and including the appeal level
- Conducting quality and clinical study data collection reviews
- Acting as a resource for the PSC/clerical staff in training, problem solving, and clarifying procedures
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Two week paid training in New York
- Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Ability to oversee, problem solve and work with peers, medical, analytical and administrative support staff
- Graduate of an approved Registered Professional Nurses training program or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care facility
- Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records including utilization and clinical charting
