You're more than an advocate for the user you have a vision for what truly great experiences can be. As a UX designer, you'll take what users want, need, and expect from the products we create, and push those expectations into front-end ideas. You're innovative, quick-thinking, and know what's happening in the online UX space. Your interaction design skills are second to none, and you have a knack for making complex information clear for stakeholders, project managers, developers, and UI designers. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for team collaboration and thrive in an environment that requires self-direction. Ultimately, you'll create functional UX features that address the needs of our customers and help us grow our business.
What you'll do:
Interact extensively with product owners, business sponsors, and industry experts to serve as the voice of the user while accommodating customer needs and technical requirements
Bring user-centered design (UCD) techniques to Agilent's customer-facing domains, from concept to launch
Work directly with stakeholders and the digital channel team to define UX project scope and strategy
Utilize tools such as personas, voice-of-customer insight, analytics, business analysis, and competitive analysis to inform your UX ideas
Conduct research and competitive analysis
Create user flows/maps, use cases, wireframes, concepts, interactive prototypes, and presentations to convey your ideas
Collaborate with other UX and UI Designers on design concepts, prototypes, mockups, and final UX/UI requirements
Assist and lead with user-testing decisions from strategy to reporting while working with a test moderator
Participate in discovery meetings, release planning, grooming, stand-ups, validation testing, launch, and post-release support as needed
