Job Summary
A cloud software company dedicated to powering social good is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote VB.NET Software Architect.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborating with product owners and other business partners to understand and refine business requirements that drive the architecture
- Working closely with engineers to create and document the detailed application design
- Collaborating with other engineers and architects to create integration strategies between components within the system or between other systems
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Technology related field, or possess equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in design and development of complex web-based, high transaction, high volume, distributed systems
- Experience with bug fixes and security and compliance using VB.NET & C#/.NET and VB6
- Ability to provide architecture guidance on implementation decisions to meet ongoing security and compliance requirements
- Ability to work closely with engineering management and product management on product roadmaps and team capacity planning
- Ability to work with Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Operations and DevOps teams to ensure the software is effectively mapped to a hardware implementation
