Job Summary

An automotive development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Vehicle Range and Efficiency Simulation Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain the full vehicle simulation model
  • Use the simulation model to predict range and efficiency globally
  • Develop simulation and/or vehicle test plans to achieve range target

Position Requirements Include:

  • BS + 3 years automotive experience, MS+ 2 years automotive experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in propulsion systems
  • 2 years on Hybrid / BEV energy analysis/modelling/simulation/ testing
  • Knowledge of computer software as it pertains to engineering analysis techniques
  • Deep knowledge of technologies impacting energy consumption, performance and drive quality
  • Experience with industry standard energy & efficiency analysis & simulation tools
