Job Summary

A company that provides health information services has a current position open for a Remote Veterans Administration Health Information Management Inpatient Patient Treatment File Auditor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Coding/auditing the minimum per-hour productivity
• Following site-specific coding guidelines that may vary from site to site
• Analyzing and generating reports

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Previous experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and DRG assignment
• Active credentials as a certified coder and completion of all requirements to maintain active credentials
• Formal training in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pathology and disease processes
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P, CCS, CPC-H, CPC, or CIC
