Job Summary
A health insurer is seeking a Remote Veterans Affairs Claims Processor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Correcting payment errors on a post-processing basis
- Analyzing claims to determine if eligibility requirements and claim filing requirements are met
- Contacting providers/veterans for missing claim information
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Work from home options after onsite training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 year as a medical claims processor
- Or, 2 years of office experience in a customer service or insurance environment
- Ability to learn and apply VA benefits, policy, and federal regulation
- Ability to learn all VA claims processing methodologies and systems
