Job Summary

An IT company is filling a position for a Remote Veterans Affairs Data Migration Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Implementing a scalable model to support accelerated site deployment while supporting integration with additional VA systems
  • Blending expertise in SAFe Agile, Product Management, DevSecOps, engineering, and Data Migration
  • Sourcing data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes along with analytical skills to assess the effectiveness

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
  • 5 years of IT experience plus 2-5 years’ development experience, preferably on data migration projects
  • Familiarity with client specific solution components, such as DMLSS, LogiCole, Cerner Millennium, and/or INterSystems
  • Excellent understanding of Oracle DB, MongoDB (nosql), and PostgreSQL databases
  • Excellent understanding of SQL programming
