Job Summary
A health care and human services program non profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote VHA Systems Data Analyst.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Trend data to identify potential opportunities for quality improvement or focused investigations
- Develop epidemiological sound indicators of the quality of care
- Identify external benchmarks of care for comparative purposes
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's, preferably in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years hands-on SAS or other statistical programming work experience, or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience with health related analytic research and quality improvement methodology
- In-depth knowledge of VHA Systems and files
- Fluency in SAS or other statistical programming software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and in teams
