Job Summary
A privately-held, non-bank mortgage lending company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Video Editor.
Must be able to:
- Create videos from scratch using motion graphics, video stock footage and adding music
- Utilize video editing software to manipulate, edit film and ensure logical sequencing for pieces to be posted for the company's online presence
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to roduce an average of 6-8 videos a month, depending on length and complexity
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio showing casing familiarity with 2D design and motion graphics
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal business partners to achieve success
- High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field, preferred, or five (5) years of similar experience
- Three-five (3-5) years of video editing experience with digital technology and editing software packages
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
