Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Virginia Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering evidence-based psychosocial treatments and behavioral interventions for common mental health disorders
- Coordinating therapy needs including triage across the spectrum from mild to severe mental illness
- Communicating with primary care providers and psychiatrists
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Independent (Clinical) Social Worker (LCSW)
- 2+ years post-Master's-degree experience in case management of patients with behavioral health needs
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Deep commitment to improving healthcare for underserved populations
- Experience with underserved populations, across spectrum of moderate to severe behavioral health conditions
- Trauma-informed and harm reduction approach to substance use disorders
