Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Virtualization Cloud Automation Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Managing a large VMware environment covering multiple sites,
  • Developing new and leverage existing automation, scripts, and monitoring tools
  • Supporting automation scripts and integrations across infrastructure stack

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Hands-on experience scripting complex automation activities
  • Knowledge in related technologies like Windows Server 2012
  • In depth knowledge of Cisco networking, vlans, segmentation and firewalls
  • Understanding of hybrid Cloud computing models
  • Experience with coding to SOAP/REST API
