Job Summary

An IT staffing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Virtualization Engineer in Baltimore.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing ongoing technical escalation support for the virtualization layer of complex Avaya Aura cloud deployments
  • Designing, building, installing, and maintaining VMware cloud infrastructure platform at data centers
  • Assisting in systems engineering and configuration management, to help automate operational processes

Qualifications Include:

  • Knowledge of Cloud Storage: Hybrid, Public, Private
  • Knowledge of large VMWare deployments
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • SME level experience in VMware based IaaS environments
  • SME level experience with virtualization and containerization
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
