Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote VMware Cloud Operations Engineer in Houston.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, tracking, and reporting KPIs associated with cloud system capacity (CPU, memory, storage, etc)
  • Providing training and mentoring around VMware and related systems
  • Managing cluster compute capacity (hosts, CPU/memory, etc)

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline
  • 5+ years recent experience as a technical, hands-on, enterprise VMware administrator
  • Experience working with global data center environments
  • Excellent communicator, high energy, positive attitude, aptitude for professional growth
  • Experience implementing and managing VMware vCloud/vSphere environments
