Job Summary
A healthcare and retail pharmacy company is seeking a Remote VMWare ESX Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing a single point of contact working in a Team Environment for Virtual, Physical and ESX infrastructure, software and tools
- Supporting Operations and Engineering functions including internal and customer facing project deliverables
- Diagnosing and remediating issues affecting support
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of experience with Server Virtualization (VMware ESX / View)
- Demonstrated working knowledge and awareness of Dell and HP Blade Enclosures including Virtual Connect (Ethernet and Fiber)
- Demonstrated working knowledge and awareness of HP Servers (x86) & Storage Blades
- Demonstrated understanding of enterprise networks
- Demonstrated working knowledge and awareness of Dell/EMC Servers (x86) and Storage
- Demonstrated working knowledge and awareness of VMware ESX 5.x, 6.x and 7.x
