Job Summary

A privately-held information technology consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Administering a VMware server and desktop management environment
  • Providing Tier III support to other VMware administrators
  • Executing projects to upgrade and expand resources within the VMware environment

Required Skills:

  • 11 years’ experience administering a server and/or virtual desktop environment
  • Extensive VMware Virtualization Experience
  • Knowledge and working experience of vRealize Operations (vROps)
  • Experience troubleshooting virtual storage connectivity and performance issues
  • A relevant BS and additional years’ experience; or, relevant certifications and additional years' experience
  • Able to communicate on a technical level to a technical audience
