We are looking for a VP of Product, who will be reporting to the CEO and will be in charge of the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for TuxCare.com product lines. This critical function is responsible for managing TuxCare products from top to bottom, defining and articulating the strategy, positioning, and pricing - as well as working with the technology team to deliver on the vision.
The position is fully remote / anywhere in the world. Experience with USA or Western European markets is required.
What You'll Do
- Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
- Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
- Work with technology team to implement the strategy
- Own the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Work with the marketing team on defining positioning & marketing strategies.
- Monitor and manage strategic marketing plans for each product or product line.
- Define pricing and competitive positioning for each product.
- Drive innovative ideas, solutions, and products through leadership and decisive action.
- Become the spokesperson for TuxCare
- Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in VP of Product or similar role
- 1+ years in enterprise Linux software market in the USA or Western Europe
- Strong knowledge of enterprise Linux software market
- Strategic & creative thinker with the ability to craft go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration with marketing
- Able to formulate and implement global strategies for products
- The customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process
- Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners
- Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
