Job Summary
Leading vulnerability management efforts, the full-time Remote Vulnerability Management Lead will oversee enterprise vulnerability scanning operations, coordinate with cross-functional teams to address security gaps, and manage compliance reporting to enhance the cybersecurity posture of a major federal civilian agency.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee enterprise vulnerability scanning operations and remediation tracking while communicating with stakeholders
- Coordinate with ISOs, ISSOs, and engineering teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into vulnerability management metrics and compliance reporting
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with expertise in vulnerability management and networking
- Active Public Trust 6c clearance or the ability to obtain one
- At least one relevant certification such as GCIH, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools like Tenable and AquaSec in a federal environment
