Job Summary
A defense company is filling a position for a Remote Weapons Design Development Junior Staff Mechanical Engineer .
Must be able to:
- Help solve challenging problems of national importance
- Make immediate contributions to Weapons Design and Development team
- Work closely with other members of staff
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related Science discipline
- Proficiency in 3D CAD systems and drawing creation (SOLIDWORKS Preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering principles such as mechanics, dynamics, vibrations, and strength of materials
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and manufacturing
- Knowledge, experience, and programming ability in MATLAB
