Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Web Accessibility Consultant.
Must be able to:
- Participate in design reviews and perform accessibility reviews of User Experience team's deliverables
- Identify potential accessibility issues and recommend best practices based on W3C's WCAG 2.0/ WCAG 2.1
- Identify design direction that requires further accessibility research
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of web accessibility analysis, design and testing experience
- Solid Understand UCD and UX as well as coding and implementation of standards
- Experience reviewing design output (wireframes, visual design comps, content) and writing accessibility
- Strong understanding of accessible user interface design practices and principles
- Strong organizational skills and English-language skills (both written and verbal)
- A champion of positivity, and must look at things as the glass is half full
