Job Summary
A software development company has an open position for a Remote Web Applications Engineering Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop the engineering vision and help guide the direction for the company's Web applications engineering team
- Lead the planning, execution, and success of multiple projects collaborating effectively with product design and business stakeholders
- Hire 10X engineering talent, motivate and grow them
Position Requirements Include:
- 6+ years of experience leading consumer-facing application engineering teams, including performance management
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience using Javascript, Node, Python, or similar web development technologies
- Experience with code reviews and driving standards
- Experience attracting, hiring, retaining and leading top engineering talent
- Proven track record of managing project roadmaps from conception through successful release
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent degree or experience
