Job Summary
An administrator of a software coding bootcamp is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Web Development Teaching Assistant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Instructor with teaching Web Development and other technology topics
- Grade technical assessments and provide 1-on-1 feedback to students
- Hold office hour sessions with students during the weeknights and occasional weekends (done virtually)
Qualifications Include:
- 1+ years of professional work experience as a software engineer preferred
- OR currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering
- Strong understanding of at least some of the core technologies of fullstack JavaScript development
- Experience teaching or mentoring: Working at a bootcamp, TA’ing in college and creating educational content via YouTube
- An interest in learning topics within our course curriculum
- A desire to work in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ownership and independence
